Blue Agate Geometry Earrings

These earrings celebrate the natural beauty of blue agate, framed with minimal golden lines that allow the stone’s raw texture and organic patterns to shine. A delicate touch of diamonds adds quiet brilliance while preserving the stone’s natural presence.

Description

Part of The Raw collection, these earrings highlight the quiet power of natural blue agate in its most authentic form. Each agate slice reveals unique patterns and subtle variations of blue, formed slowly by nature and preserved in their original texture. Rather than concealing the stone within a traditional setting, the design uses refined golden lines to gently frame the agate, allowing the material to breathe and express its own character.

Small diamonds are placed like points of light along the structure, adding a subtle sparkle without overpowering the natural stone. The geometric form creates a balance between rawness and refinement—between what nature gives and what the artist chooses to reveal.

In this piece, the raw stone becomes the center of expression. The design does not control it, but instead supports it, allowing its natural energy and beauty to speak freely. These earrings embody the philosophy of “Zhuo”—where rawness and refinement coexist, and within the rough, light quietly emerges.

Our jewellery

Each of our jewels is imbued with a sense of discovery. Drawn to the earth’s natural treasures, Ruth Tomlinson is renowned for a celebration of unconventional beauty; transforming often forgotten stories of historic jewels into her signature designs, marked by their tiny granular intricacies, ethereal character and serendipitous imperfections.

Our jewellery is handcrafted in our London atelier by our small team of skilled goldsmiths, with Ruth at the helm designing and making each new piece. We work with a few local suppliers who specialise in particular parts of the making process, all based within walking distance of our atelier. These low-impact methods ensure that we can actively oversee every step of the making process, while supporting the local economy and continuing to champion the traditional craft of jewellery-making in London’s historic jewellery district.
