Blue Agate Edge Earrings

Natural blue agate framed within clean geometric lines, accented with a subtle row of diamonds that trace a quiet line of light along the stone’s edge.

Description

Part of The Raw collection, the Blue Agate Edge Earrings celebrate the quiet strength and natural character of agate. Each triangular slice of blue agate reveals soft layers and subtle gradients of color formed naturally over time. These organic patterns are preserved and highlighted rather than reshaped, allowing the stone’s raw beauty to remain at the center of the design.

The stone is supported by a refined silver frame that follows its natural geometry with clean, architectural lines. Along the upper edge, a delicate row of diamonds introduces a subtle glow, creating a contrast between the calm depth of the agate and the gentle brilliance of light.

By stepping away from heavy traditional settings, the design allows the stone to breathe and express its natural presence. The balance between raw material and refined structure reflects the philosophy of “Zhuo”—where rawness is the truth we inherit from nature, and refinement is the light we choose to reveal. These earrings embody a quiet dialogue between nature, structure, and light.

Our jewellery

Each of our jewels is imbued with a sense of discovery. Drawn to the earth’s natural treasures, Ruth Tomlinson is renowned for a celebration of unconventional beauty; transforming often forgotten stories of historic jewels into her signature designs, marked by their tiny granular intricacies, ethereal character and serendipitous imperfections.

Our jewellery is handcrafted in our London atelier by our small team of skilled goldsmiths, with Ruth at the helm designing and making each new piece. We work with a few local suppliers who specialise in particular parts of the making process, all based within walking distance of our atelier. These low-impact methods ensure that we can actively oversee every step of the making process, while supporting the local economy and continuing to champion the traditional craft of jewellery-making in London’s historic jewellery district.
