Lapis Lazuli Horizon Bracelet

A natural slice of lapis lazuli held within refined golden lines, accented with delicate diamonds that add quiet points of light while allowing the stone’s raw beauty to remain the focus.

Description

Part of The Raw collection, the Lapis Lazuli Horizon Bracelet celebrates the deep, timeless beauty of natural lapis lazuli. The stone is preserved in its raw, irregular form, revealing rich blue tones and natural mineral patterns that tell the story of its geological origin.

Rather than shaping the stone into a conventional form, the design gently frames it with minimal golden lines that follow its natural edges. Small diamonds are placed like subtle sparks of light along the structure, creating a delicate contrast between the stone’s quiet depth and the brilliance of refinement.

The open bracelet design allows the stone to remain visually light and free, emphasizing the philosophy behind “Zhuo”—where rawness represents the truth we are born with, and refinement is the light we choose to reveal. In this piece, the lapis lazuli becomes a small landscape of natural color, supported rather than controlled by its setting. The result is a quiet harmony between nature, structure, and light.

Our jewellery

Each of our jewels is imbued with a sense of discovery. Drawn to the earth’s natural treasures, Ruth Tomlinson is renowned for a celebration of unconventional beauty; transforming often forgotten stories of historic jewels into her signature designs, marked by their tiny granular intricacies, ethereal character and serendipitous imperfections.

Our jewellery is handcrafted in our London atelier by our small team of skilled goldsmiths, with Ruth at the helm designing and making each new piece. We work with a few local suppliers who specialise in particular parts of the making process, all based within walking distance of our atelier. These low-impact methods ensure that we can actively oversee every step of the making process, while supporting the local economy and continuing to champion the traditional craft of jewellery-making in London’s historic jewellery district.
